The Münster-based veteran Jürgen König, active in various bands since the early 80s and with over 25 years of involvement in the internationally acclaimed band Rubbish (www.rubbishmusic.com), is now venturing into solo territory.
In his project „Wings of a Butterfly“ (www.wings-of-a-butterfly.com), he is supported by high-calibre musicians and the longtime Rubbish producer Michael Voss. The music offers a blend of gothic, metal, and sustainable melodies, supported by downtuned guitars. The recordings took place at the Kidwood Studios in the Black Forest, which is frequented by internationally established bands. The first single „The Funeral of Hearts“ is released on 7us media group.

Das Münsteraner Urgestein Jürgen König, seit den frühen 80zigern, für diverse Bands aktiv und seit über 25 Jahren für die international aktive Band Rubbish tätig (www.rubbishmusic.com), wandelt nun zusätzlich auf Solo Pfaden.
Bei dem Projekt Wings of a Butterfly ( www.wings-of-a-butterfly.com) wird er unterstützt von hochkarätigen Musikern und dem langjährigen Rubbish Produzenten Michael Voss. Geboten wird eine Melange aus Gothic, Metall und tragenden Melodien, die von herunter gestimmten Gitarren unterstützt werden. Recorded wird in den Kidwood Studios im Hochschwarzwald, in dem sich international bekannte Bands die Klinke in die Hand geben. Die erste Single, The Funeral of hearts, erscheint in Kürze auf 7us media group.

I am thrilled to announce that Barry Sparks are joining Wings of a Butterfly as a Guest Musician to record the Bass-line for our first single! Barry Sparks is an American rock bassist and guitarist for artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, the Michael Schenker Group, UFO, Dokken, and Ted Nugent, among others.
Ich freue mich sehr, bekannt geben zu können, dass Barry Sparks bei Wings of a Butterflies erster Single als Gastmusiker die Basslinie einspielt!
